• Small press reviewer Tom Bowden provides a bonus column of reviews this month: i arrogantly recommend…by Tom Bowden Tom is working on a special novella edition of recommendations, and another reviewing all Detroit writers.
• Independent Bookstore Day is Saturday, April 30. We are planning a day of local authors to sign books, meet with people, and help us celebrate.

The church is located at 17150 Maumee, Grosse Pointe City. This event is sponsored by the Grosse Pointe library, and seating is limited. Please register to attend at Author Event with Andrey Kurkov.
