Four 20 by 20 inch single color (black) serigraphs / screenprints of cover art designs Crumb made for the Winds of Change environmental newspaper in the early 1980s. Crumb joined the staff as an art director and drew many covers, spot drawings, and cartoons, but ultimately he found the work—which involved a lot of consensus-building meetings—to be creatively stifling, even if he agreed with the politics.
The Winds of Change portfolio has also been called the Yolo Portfolio.
A beautiful set of Crumb silkscreens on the environment. Plates are all in Very Fine as new condition, the colophon and outercase are in fine condition and have some very minor light wear issues. Please see images for detailed condition or call with any questions. This is our last set left!
