A special purchase has allowed us to bring in a quantity of the biography on Robert Frank: American Witness: The Art and Life of Robert Frank by R.J. Smith. This $35 biography is priced at $7.99 and is currently in stock for a limited time. We would like to hold a discussion of the book at Book Beat on Sunday, February 23rd, at 2 PM. This should allow anyone interested a chance to read the book before the February meeting. This meeting will be open to the general public as well as the photo group.
Please RSVP to Book Beat if you can attend, or would like a copy of American Witness held for you. In case of a large response we may choose an alternate meeting space. It was an early intention of this group to discuss books and articles about photography, enlarging ones practice and world view. We hope by returning to this format we can refresh everyones interest.
