Book Beat and the Sierra Club present poet Helen Frost and photographer Rick Lieder at Book Beat on Saturday, April 8th from 1:00-4:00pm to celebrate the release of their latest collaboration, Wake Up! Wake Up! –the follow up to their three previous critically-acclaimed collaborations: Step Gently Out, Among a Thousand Fireflies and Sweep Up The Sun. They will be speaking and signing copies of their work.
In addition- to help highlight the need for protecting our local natural environment- Book Beat will be donating 20% of all customer purchases on April 8th directly to the South East Michigan Group (SEMG) of the Sierra Club. Join us to celebrate these two extraordinary artists and help protect our local natural community at the same time.
